Encrypted in transit and at rest
Everything you capture is protected with TLS encryption while moving between you and us, and encrypted at rest on our servers — which are hosted in the United States. We don't offer end-to-end encryption, because our servers need to read your data to provide features like AI enhancement and reminders.
Private by default
Only you can read your memories unless you actively choose to share a capsule or envelope. Row-level access controls keep other users out.
We never sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to anyone. Your memories are yours. We don't use your photos or memories to train any models.
How AI works here
You choose how much AI touches your memory — "Keep my words" (no AI), "Gentle polish" (light edits), or "Full narrative" (full rewrite). For the latter two, your text and any attached photo are sent to our AI provider to generate the narrative. The result is stored on your capsule and isn't shared with anyone. You can remove the AI layer from any saved capsule at any time — your original words are always preserved. Keeper works the same way — your question and data are sent to the AI provider only as needed to fulfill your request.
You own your memories
Everything you write, record, and upload is yours — you own it, always. We don't claim any ownership of your memories, photos, or recordings. You're free to export them as a PDF at any time, and if you ever leave, you can take them with you.
Nothing disappears when you cancel
If your subscription ends, nothing you've created is lost. Every memory, envelope, and montage stays right where it is — you can still open, read, and export all of it. You simply return to the free tier, so creating new premium content pauses until you choose to come back.
Who sees what
Only you can see your memories unless you choose to share. Envelopes are seen only by you and the recipient you send them to. In a Family Capsule, every member can see every entry — the owner decides who's a member, and members can be removed at any time. Legacy Delivery releases only the specific envelopes and capsules you assign to each person, and only after your Trusted Contact confirms — nothing else is ever shared.
You're in control
Export or delete everything at any time from your Profile page — individual memories from My Capsules, or your entire account and all its data in one step. Your account, your memories, your call.
Built to last
Your memories are exportable anytime and never deleted when a subscription ends. If anything ever happens to me, a trusted person can trigger a full data export for everyone, and Legacy Delivery ensures scheduled messages still reach the people they were meant for. The infrastructure doesn't depend on one person — this is built to last.
